In 1990 Marvin C. Coble, CEO and President of Coble & Associates Inc. had a vision:  To own his own Insurance business after having 17 years as being a bank examiner.  He wanted to own a company where the broker serves its clients with knowledgeable business sense, professionalism and a commitment to service.

Coble discovered an untapped market while working in the insurance industry in 1990.  Insurance company sales representatives concentrated on only the large benefit-consulting firms, leaving average brokers with little to no service.  Coble made the decision to go into business on his own, reaching out to small companies and individuals that needed insurance.
